Hi guys, today I'm sharing two cards I made using the LF Scripty Hello die from the Come on Get Crafty Shop.
Hope everyone is having a fantabulous weekend!
Here's a layout made for Come on Get Crafty's Product Showcase.
Used some Websters Pages, Glitz, Pink Paislee & American Crafts which can be found in the shop.
This is a layout from a day out for Sophia's 11th Birthday. We had a fabulous day with American Girl. These photos are from the cruise around NYC. We also had a shopping spree, got her doll Nicole's ears pierced and had a fabulous lunch at the store. What a great day! And Im planning on a mini album for the day and the 300 photos I took lol
AND What a difference 2 years make. No more dolls, now it's all social media, makeup & fashion. But I think she will carry this day as a little girl in her heart forever.
I whitewashed the wood veneers by spraying the wood generously with mist. I let that sit for a minute and wiped the excess off before it completely absorbed. Easy way to change it up a bit :)
Thanks so very much for stopping by!
Happy Halloween!
Hey today I have a fun & easy tutorial on the Come on Get Crafty blog. I'm showing you how to make your non themed products spookier using liquid appliqué. It's a fun technique and a medium I've enjoyed using for years. You can head on over to the blog to see full tutorial... Here's the finished page.
Michael is my New Years baby! Kind of funny that I had a child on New Years. When I was little I loved loved loved anything with a New Years baby on it. My Mom actually had decorations with the baby on it throughout the house for New Years. I loved the movie & used to draw him all the time!
I went into labor with Mikey on New Year's Eve, I was actually just going up to visit my sister who had my nephew George on the 29th. Well before I got to my sisters room my doctor saw me & said "oh no, you're coming with me" he must have seen something on my face, lol. I didn't even realize I was in labor! Next thing you know I'm in a gown in the birthing room. They really thought Mikey would be the first baby of the year. The hospital was on the phone with the press and everything! It just so happened my contractions stopped and Mikey wasn't the first baby of the year for New York but he was the first baby born in that hospital for 1999. When his first birthday rolled around in 2000 I knew these had to be the pictures taken :)
Never got to "actually" visit my sister Gigi & baby nephew. I actually got something better... We got to share a room. They also let Gigi & my brother inlaw in the birthing room to watch the ball drop!!! Pretty cool if you ask me :)
Wasn't he just the cutest! Xoxoxo
Tony & I at our engagement party. What a wonderful day. All the planning and preparation was well worth it all. It was so nice to celebrate with all our family friends. Lots of love was felt that day! Xoxo
Color scheme was inspired by Come on get Crafty's Monday Moodboard. Fell in love with this color scheme.
This is actually the second time I've scrapped this photo. I've actually scrapped all our engagement party photos & they are all in a coordinated album. The theme of the album is red, black, white, hearts and keys. I have to be honest & tell you half way though making the album I was sick of it. I always knew that I'd go back to some of the photos and rescrap my favorites. Moral of the story here is this hobby should be fun & help you enjoy your memories, so don't be afraid to rescrap some of your favorite photos. I do it often & I really enjoy it :)
