You Are So Very Loved

Sharing a layout made for Come On Get Crafty's Everyday. Life. Documented series. I used PL cards to make a traditional page. But as you can see, you can definitely use the embellished cards into your pocket page protectors.

It was very easy to add several photos by using the cards in a grid design. I added a vellum background I cut with my cameo. It helped to ground the photos and add visual interest.

I love these photos of Tony & I but if you look closely at our faces you can see that it was 90 something degrees and 100% humidity! Holy cow it was so darn hot! Although well worth it because the pictures we took in this location are some of my favorite of the day.

2014 Goals

Sharing a layout made for COGC favorite things series. I'm showcasing Websters Pages "New Year New Me" line. I loved the colors of this line & the sentiments inspired me to do a layout of my goals this year.

I don't like sharing my personal goals so I wrote them on a hidden tag. I used pop dots under my photo to leave room for the tag to slide in and out freely.

Fish Face

The infamous teenage fish face selfie of the 2k's! I think this trend is totally silly but does make for some cute pictures! And my girls are definitely cute ;)

Used some gelatos for the bubbles and did a bubble & mist technique for the background. Had fun creating using these techniques.

Go. Be. Extraordinary

My son Michael... Is an extraordinary kid. I am very proud of the young man he is becoming.

This photo was taken at his step Grandparents house up in Pennsylvania. Michael has always loved going up there to visit. He loves the outdoors. Some of my favorite memories of Michael are from our visits up there. He gets this whole other way about him. He is definitely in his element.

I wanted to keep the layout pretty simple to emphasize the photo. I just added a few embellishments & one patterned paper. I love this photo of him & very happy with how the layout turned out.

When I showed Michael the layout, he smiled & thanked me. This kid truly fills my heart.

XOXO,

# Cheesin

This photo was found on Sophia's Instagram. With that hashtag!! Thanks for the title Fia! I love seeing the selfies my kids take. I get to see so many different faces and moods my kids are in. Instagram is the best invention EVA! LOL

Want to know a secret?? Those white stars were not intentional. That was my solution to some ink smudges :) pretty happy with the result. Love how mistakes can turn out to be a good thing!

Used Studio Calico's Copper Mountain kit. Which is one of my new faves!

Thanks so much for stopping by & I hope the upcoming weekend is fabulous for you!

The Girls

Here's a layout made for Come on Get Crafty's Product Showcase.

Used some Websters Pages, Glitz, Pink Paislee & American Crafts which can be found in the shop.

This is a layout from a day out for Sophia's 11th Birthday. We had a fabulous day with American Girl. These photos are from the cruise around NYC. We also had a shopping spree, got her doll Nicole's ears pierced and had a fabulous lunch at the store. What a great day! And Im planning on a mini album for the day and the 300 photos I took lol

AND What a difference 2 years make. No more dolls, now it's all social media, makeup & fashion. But I think she will carry this day as a little girl in her heart forever.

I whitewashed the wood veneers by spraying the wood generously with mist. I let that sit for a minute and wiped the excess off before it completely absorbed. Easy way to change it up a bit :)
