Happy New Year!!!

Cheers to a New Year & another chance to get it right!

Loved this quote when I saw it on Pinterest that I just knew I had to use it.

Want to say a special Thank You to my son Mikey for helping me with that shot by sprinkling the confetti over the set up. It took many shots & he patiently sprinkled & sprinkled LOL

Also want to wish my New Years Day Baby Mikey a Happy 15th Birthday!!! Xoxo

And here's my son on his 1st Birthday LOL

Wishing you all best wishes in the New Year!!! XOXO

You Can Go Your Own Way (Process)

My beautiful daughter Alyssa. She has always been unique to herself. And one of the traits I admire the most about her is that she is not a follower. I was very proud of her in the younger teen years because of this.

Ok so I've tried my hand at a process video. If I decide to do another I will try to improve on this. I downloaded a simple video app & gave it a go.

It's very simple for now & set to music. Not sure you are all ready for my Brooklynese accent lol. Just kidding (sorta) but I'm not sure how to video live. The simple app I downloaded doesn't have many functions & I'm unsure what app to use. I also take forever to complete a layout, so I would need to speed it up.

I need to look into it, I am considering it for the future though... ;)

Would love to know what you all think. **I do know that next time I'll upload with a higher resolution.**

Thanks so much for looking & watching!

Happiness

Tony & I at our engagement party. What a wonderful day. All the planning and preparation was well worth it all. It was so nice to celebrate with all our family friends. Lots of love was felt that day! Xoxo

Color scheme was inspired by Come on get Crafty's Monday Moodboard. Fell in love with this color scheme.

This is actually the second time I've scrapped this photo. I've actually scrapped all our engagement party photos & they are all in a coordinated album. The theme of the album is red, black, white, hearts and keys. I have to be honest & tell you half way though making the album I was sick of it. I always knew that I'd go back to some of the photos and rescrap my favorites. Moral of the story here is this hobby should be fun & help you enjoy your memories, so don't be afraid to rescrap some of your favorite photos. I do it often & I really enjoy it :)

Life is Beautiful layout

This photo is actually one of the photos taken in the photo booth I had set up at our wedding. It was the one thing I wanted most for my wedding. The guests absolutely loved it! Lots of giggling came out of that curtain. My only regret is that I didn't have time to get in it as much as I would have liked. Wish I could have taken a picture with each and every guest.

This layout was made with the Studio Calico August kits Marks & Co. Also some Heidi Swapp products that I've just been falling in love with lately!

*Please scroll all the way down to see the difference between taking photos of layouts by the window & taking them out doors.

Ok after I took these photos I actually tried something & brought my layout all the way outside & just look at the difference...

Didn't adjust in any way (it could use a little tweaking tho.... Guess I'll be taking my photos outside from here on in. I was going to change them all out but I wanted to show you all the difference.

*All photos were taken with my ipad mini.

Thanks so much for looking & have a fabulous day!

Crazy Silly Fun Layout

Why yes another layout with my favorite type of pictures....photo booth craziness.
These photos were taken this past summer. My kids actually went & took these photos so that I can scrap them. Love how they know to do that LOL

Before Shot
Layout was made using the Scrapbook Circle September kit & other scrappy tidbits.

Will add supply list at another time...I promise.

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!!!
