Hey everyone today I have 3 layouts to share. These are the layouts I made for Come on Get Crafty's "it all started with a sketch class" it was so fun to see all the contributors takes on all the sketches. Here are my three contributions.

Favorite Season

The fall season is hands down my favorite. I love everything about it. It has my favorite holidays, smells, colors & feel. Not to mention all the cute sweaters, scarves and boots!

Wish it was fall all year long!

 

 

 

 

This layout didn't get off to such a good start.... Look what happened lol

Ack! See the paper towel I put to catch the teeny tiny splatters I thought might happen! I never take those precautions. It's as though the universe said "silly girl, I don't think so" LOL

 

 

Autumn 1999

I love these pictures of Alyssa & Mikey. Here we spent the day at Dykers Fall Festival. Lots of good food & fun. Aren't they adorbs! ;)
Used WP new pattern paper Cornucopia. Loved the colors in this. I also used BG Persimmon even though the colors are slightly different.
I originally didn't have the vellum under the matted photo. Unfortunately I over misted my background at the very end. So instead of ripping my mistake up & having to redo everything I opted for my secret trick. I have used vellum quite a few times to hide a mistake. It subtle & covers things up just enough without adding any extra clutter.

Not Too Spooky

Hey today I have a fun & easy tutorial on the Come on Get Crafty blog. I'm showing you how to make your non themed products spookier using liquid appliqué. Baby Be Mine layout

This feels like yesterday, my baby Valentine Aly in 1996!

Used some Maggie Holmes (crate paper) Dear Lizzy & Amy Tangerine (American crafts) from the Come on Get Crafty shop.

Also have some pretty WRMK, MME & Chic Tags in there :)

Really love when you can mix different brands and lines. It's like a puzzle and excites me when I find pretties that go together well.

Don't you just want to squishy that sweet little face!

I still can't seem to make a too many layouts without some type of mist. Had fun using the little droppers to get those droplets.

 

Wonder Wheel layout

These pictures of Sophia are many moons ago but are still some of my favorites. They are from a day we went to Coney Island with my sister & nephew. My nephew had a class trip at the aquarium & we tagged along. It was winter & it was kinda cool being at the beach at that time.

Another honeymoon layout. I can not express enough how much I love The Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego!

Pool Fools

From our summer vacation. We love this hotel, we go every year. It's just so relaxing & the pool is fabulous. This particular day the kids were being literally fools, LOL

Dreams Really Do Come True layout

At this exact moment in the photo I thought to myself....Finally. Finally having my dream wedding & I'm about to marry the man of my dreams! It was a little surreal. This photo was the first time in that wildly crazy morning that I was able to take a breath and think. I'm so glad the photographer got this shot & that I can remember that exact feeling!

Not to mention the fact that I LOVED my veil! LOL

Lots going on in this layout. Including stitching & watercolors. Wasn't sure about the repeating picture but I'm happy with how it turned out.

Used SC Double scoop kits & a few other tidbits. 

Also have to thank Alyssa for outlining the frame and Sophia for helping me with the stitching. Mommy had to make Sunday dinner so I truly appreciated the help xoxo

Just noticed the dot is missing over the I.... It's there in real life now :)

First Day of High School layout

Can't believe my Mikey started High School! Feels like just the other day I was holding his hand & walking him into Kindergarten. 

this an everything but the kitchen sink layout. While I really enjoy making these types of layouts, I realized why I don't do them too much. Besides the time, which I don't really mind, THE MESS it makes is cray cray lol

It was a miracle that I got him to write even these 3 lines.

Love The Del layout

Seriously have wanted to go to the hotel Del Coronado in San Diego, CA. since I could remember. How lucky am I that we got to go for our honeymoon! At first we wanted to go somewhere tropical but I figured when would we ever chose to go to the Del on a family vacation? Going for our honeymoon was perfect. Actually more perfect than i imagined. And I'll say it again, this Brooklyn girl definitely left a piece of her heart in Cali. 

Oh Del how I miss you.... We'll be back to you eventually xoxo
