Play Ball - Layout

I can not even begin to tell you how much joy it brings Tony & I watching this boy play ball!

Used this months Studio Calico Penny Arcade kit & add-ons along with some Freckled Fawn & Heidi Swapp.

Sisters...

Just a quick post today with a layout of my beautiful daughters. We were pumpkin picking at Casala Farms in NJ. So many photos oppurtunitys at this beautiful farm.

Used Basic Grey Persimmon. Loved how the paper I used at the corners matched my oldest daughters sweater. Love when things like that happen. It's the little things, right?

Also want to wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving! Eat tons, laugh a lot, enjoy your company & travel safe!

 

 

You Can Go Your Own Way (Process)

My beautiful daughter Alyssa. She has always been unique to herself. And one of the traits I admire the most about her is that she is not a follower. I was very proud of her in the younger teen years because of this.

 

 

Ok so I've tried my hand at a process video. If I decide to do another I will try to improve on this. I downloaded a simple video app & gave it a go.

It's very simple for now & set to music. Not sure you are all ready for my Brooklynese accent lol. Just kidding (sorta) but I'm not sure how to video live. The simple app I downloaded doesn't have many functions & I'm unsure what app to use. I also take forever to complete a layout, so I would need to speed it up.

I need to look into it, I am considering it for the future though... ;)

Would love to know what you all think. **I do know that next time I'll upload with a higher resolution.**

Autumn 1999

I love these pictures of Alyssa & Mikey. Here we spent the day at Dykers Fall Festival. Lots of good food & fun. Aren't they adorbs! ;)
Used WP new pattern paper Cornucopia. Loved the colors in this. I also used BG Persimmon even though the colors are slightly different.
I originally didn't have the vellum under the matted photo. Unfortunately I over misted my background at the very end. So instead of ripping my mistake up & having to redo everything I opted for my secret trick. I have used vellum quite a few times to hide a mistake. It subtle & covers things up just enough without adding any extra clutter.

Christmas Pajamas

Every year before on Christmas Eve the kids each get one present. Christmas PJ's! They get so excited for them. It's become a favorite tradition. After that we put baby Jesus in the manger & sing Happy Birthday. That is a tradition I started as a toddler. So glad I was able to pass that one onto my kiddies. :)

Used some water colors to soften the background a bit. All the tid bits are from Basic Grey waterfall packs. Which by the way I'm obsessed with! I think I have every pack lol.

 

 

 

 

 

Aly & Mikey Snowstorm 1999

I adore these pictures of my two oldest. It was Mikey's first experience in the snow and Alys first time having a sibling to play with her in a snowstorms aftermath. I don't remember all the details but what stands out is how happy the 3 of us were. AND how fun it was!

I have 2 layouts for you. They will go in my album side by side with an insert for the extra photos. I tried to make a girl version and a boy version. So Aly's has pink and aqua. Mikey's has red and navy.

It's amazing to me because they started out like this....

Just 2 photos, 2 pattern papers & 2 embellishments. That's all that's need to spark a little creative inspiration!

Back to School layout

The annual back to school photo. Happy to say I've trained my children well because they know not to give me a hard time lol.

This is a very rare moment for me because I truly do not know the meaning of the word.

Used Elle's studio Thursday sketch for 9/19. Been doing lots of challenges lately and they are really helping me use my supplies.

Dreams Really Do Come True layout

At this exact moment in the photo I thought to myself....Finally. Finally having my dream wedding & I'm about to marry the man of my dreams! It was a little surreal. This photo was the first time in that wildly crazy morning that I was able to take a breath and think. I'm so glad the photographer got this shot & that I can remember that exact feeling!

Not to mention the fact that I LOVED my veil! LOL

Lots going on in this layout. Including stitching & watercolors. Wasn't sure about the repeating picture but I'm happy with how it turned out.

Used SC Double scoop kits & a few other tidbits. 

Also have to thank Alyssa for outlining the frame and Sophia for helping me with the stitching. Mommy had to make Sunday dinner so I truly appreciated the help xoxo

First Day of High School layout

Can't believe my Mikey started High School! Feels like just the other day I was holding his hand & walking him into Kindergarten. 

this an everything but the kitchen sink layout. While I really enjoy making these types of layouts, I realized why I don't do them too much. Besides the time, which I don't really mind, THE MESS it makes is cray cray lol

It was a miracle that I got him to write even these 3 lines.

Michael Joseph Layout

My handsome Son Michael. Oh how proud I am of him. He is 13 & becoming such a wonderful young man. He is precisely how I imagined he would be when he was little. Love this boy!
